The Ultimate Concept in Stone Fireplace Design
As in all natural products slight colour variation is inevitable even within each part, meaning that no two fireplaces are identical. This together with some slight imperfections, gives our surrounds a natural look that is nearly impossible to distinguish from natural stone.
Natural stone achieves its beauty and character from the slight shading differences and imperfections created by nature. We achieve a similar product using methods of reconstruction used in the stone industry over many years.
Standard Convector (SC)
The standard convector panel is an industry standard opening of 16.5”w x 22.5”h. This can be tailored to accept and gas, electric or solid fuel appliance. When used with solid fuel it is necessary to split the head section into 3 pieces, forming a keystone to allow for expansion.
Moulded Inset (MI)
This inset panel has a moulded edge and is shaped to match the outer surround profile. It is available to suit both 16” and 18” Fireback and hood. It can be used for gas, electric and solid fuel. When used with solid fuel it is necessary to split the head section into 3 pieces, forming a keystone to allow for expansion.
Slip Inset (SI)
The slip inset is a band of stone which follows the shape of the outer surround. It can be tailor-made to suit customer openings and firebox chambers. A comprehensive list of max and min dimensions are displayed throughout the catalogue.
Large Screen Fire (LS)
All our surrounds can have a specially designed interior tailored to suit large screen gas or electric fires. The appliance used must be smaller than the site openings listed throughout the catalogue.
