Refund & Cancellation Policy

**MB Manufacturing trading as Bains Fireplaces**

Standard Stock Products

If you purchase a standard stocked product online, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Returned goods must:

* Be unused and in a resaleable condition.

* Be returned, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging with all accessories.

* Be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly, the customer is responsible for the cost of return carriage.

Where returned goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, or are returned with damaged or missing packaging, missing components or in a condition that reduces their resale value, Bains Fireplaces reserves the right to make a reasonable deduction from any refund to reflect the actual reduction in value, as permitted by UK consumer law.

Bespoke Products

All bespoke micro marble and limestone fireplace surrounds are manufactured specifically to the customer's approved dimensions and specification.

Full payment is required before manufacture commences.

Once manufacture has begun, bespoke products cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty or do not conform to the agreed specification.

Special Order Products

Certain products, including many electric fires, gas fires and other appliances, are specially ordered from manufacturers specifically to fulfil a customer's order and are not held as stock by Bains Fireplaces.

Once we have accepted your order and committed to purchasing or processing these products, cancellation or return may not be possible except where required by law or where agreed by Bains Fireplaces.

Where a return is accepted outside your statutory rights, it will be subject to:

* The manufacturer's acceptance of the return.

* The goods being unused and in perfect resaleable condition.

* The customer paying all return carriage costs.

* Any reasonable charges or deductions incurred by Bains Fireplaces, including charges imposed by the manufacturer and any reduction in resale value.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. If goods are faulty, damaged on delivery or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can arrange an appropriate remedy.
